Why Should You Care Where You Buy Your Hair Care Products?

There are all types of brands of shampoos and conditioners that you can buy these days. From your local salon, to your local drugstore, you are seeing professional salon only products being sold.
Have you ever looked at the back of your brand name bottle of shampoo? If it says “guarantee when purchased from a professional stylist only” and you bought it a Walmart do you think it’s still guaranteed? Or what if you have a bottle that says “Authorized for sale in professional salons” and you got it a Costco? What makes them a salon? It’s a shame that things like this are happening because in a lot of ways the major head care product creators are killing sales for salons.
Ever wonder why you should buy your products from a salon not your local drugstore? The products you see in Costco are there for a reason, they are usually mistakes, when created something wasn’t quite up to standards to what would be expected for a salon so they are dumped in drugstores etc so that the company doesn’t lose money. But it still has the brand name on the bottle so you the customer think you are getting a deal. But are you really? Now I have heard of salons dumping product, so this does indeed happen.
In fact I had a chat with a company to find out if this was true, are professional salon hair care products they offer indeed found in a Dollar Store due to the fact that when the brand was sold, a salon dumped all their remaining stock? And yes it did happen. It happen because the salon had no idea where to return the product for a refund towards buying another hair care brand. So this does happens, major brands say this is why you see their product in a drugstore all the time, OK but just how many salons are dumping the same product? You know that the amount of products you see all the time in a local drugstore; there is no way it got there because salons dumping product. Be real here folks.
Now on the other hand if you just paid over $600 for your hairstylist to create the perfect red for you, are you going to want the color to fade? No it’s costly to pay to get the best hair color, if your hairstylist recommends a brand best suited for your amazing new flaming red hair, are you going to buy your shampoo at a drugstore just to save a few bucks? Who knows what better for your hair, your stylist or that kid behind the counter more interested in trying to get away with texting her boyfriend than helping you figure out from a sea of hair care product choices? Think about it, when you pay to get your hair color touched up because you were not using the best products for it. Save money on shampoo now, pay for your hair color sooner..
Next time you buy a shampoo that should be sold only in a salon you are helping the brand make money off their mistakes. If your hairstylist recommends a brand there is a reason for it. Talk with your stylist if you can’t afford a salon brand hair care product then ask if there are any they would recommend you can buy somewhere else. A good stylist knows what to look for, and they also know what is the best products for your hair. It’s your crowning glory don’t you want to keep it that way?…

Want Amazingly Great Hair? – Gotta Try RUSK HAIR Products!

With RUSK Hair Products there is no need to look any further for the best hair care! The line has exactly what you need to take your hair from big and sexy to textured and edgy. Some of their products really stand out to me but all the RUSK products really are so fabulous that they should all be recognized at least a little. Each of the RUSK hair products has been split up in to one of their lines: RUSK Being, RUSK Designer Series, RUSK Coral Therapy, Rusk Sensories, and Rusk Deep Shine.
I tend to really favor the styling line: Rusk Being for a number of reasons. One major advantage with them is that they are not only great but they are all formulated to be able to be used in combination with one another. The variety of products really helps to create exactly the looks you are going for. Oh, and even better each product also adds lots of shine – awesome! Now, if you, like many others, are concerned about how these products do in sunny and humid climates, not to worry because each product is made with ingredients that protect your hair from the sun’s UV rays and are humidity resistant.
I also came across RUSK’s wonderful line of shampoos at one of my many hair styling appointments. My natural brown color had begun to bore me and I had decided to make a huge change and go red! Needless to say after getting my color done I was in heaven and adored my totally new look but unfortunately before I new it, my red was fading. I knew I couldn’t live with a quick fading hair color so at my next color appointment I asked Annie, my friend and colorist of many years, for a recommendation on a hair product to remedy my specific situation. She quickly recommended that I look into RUSK.
The RUSK Sensories line uses a combination of botanical ingredients what RUSK calls compressed formulas. The compressed formulas are basically a concentrated version of a shampoo that is activated with addition of water and movement. For the budget conscious this is great because it takes less product than usual to wash your hair making a little go along way. More bang for your buck, gotta love that!
She specifically recommended their Pure Shampoo as my best bet. She made me aware that there were key ingredients that make this shampoo different than others. Traditionally Vitamin-E is the base for shampoos that protect your color from fading but instead this RUSK shampoo is based on Jasmine and Mandarin with silicone. In order for the shampoo to truly be effective and keep your color from fading, the silicone fills in the hair’s cuticle to keep the color sealed in longer.
This line really is complete and they have tried to offer something for the most common hair problems. With 8 RUSK shampoo and conditioners you have plenty of choices. Aloe and Passionflower make Sensories Smoother Shampoo ideal for someone that has dry and/or unmanageable hair while their Moist Shampoo can really help to re-hydrate, moisturize and almost lubricate your lovely locks with apricot and sunflower extract.
The latest thing RUSK has developed is a luxury line called Sensories Wellness. This line is definitely not for the economically challenged as their ingredients are exotic and costly but worth it. Some of the ingredients these hair products have are Gardenia Tahitensis Flower extract, Mango Seed Oil, and Moroccan Argan Oil. I have no doubt that these products will definitely deliver an amazing, naturally color-safe hair care regimen.
Although there are still many RUSK products I have left to try, I hope that this small insight has shown you that if you need help with your hair, RUSK really has lots of options. The hair care line has been in the industry for years and continues to update its products to reflect the latest in technology and nature to benefit our hair.…

Natural Products For a Sensitive Scalp

Chronic dryness in your scalp can be aggravated during cold and dry weather. Along with reduced moisture in the scalp, combined with considerably reduced sebum production, (the oily stuff your scalp produces) to create a balance between dryness, can cause flaking of the scalp, itchiness and redness. Reduced scalp oil combined together with shampoos and hair products, which have surface scouring components that, lead to the cause of itchiness in already dry scalps occurring naturally.
Normal oil production from the sebaceous glands provides a naturally occurring soothing and repairing coat of oil to the follicles and the scalp. Sebum provides the protection needed from dryness while supplying moisture and added nourishment to your hair. Windy and cold weather dries the skin on the scalp and increases brittleness of the follicle shaft.
Most commercially available shampoos and conditioners contain chemicals or cleansers that will strip the natural moisture from your scalp. While you may get really clean looking hair, in reality, you are doing an injustice to your scalp.
It is now a well-known fact, that lack of sebum production, combined with hair products that are non-hypoallergenic (not allergy producing), are considered to be the primary cause of dry and an itchy scalp. Along with lowered humidity, this leads to excessive dryness and itchiness, in most cases beginning around the hair line and towards the sides and back of the head.
Jojoba oil is known to restore sebum balance and moisturizes the scalp quite well. This was an accidental discovery made in the United States, when their government banned the import of whale oil in 1971. Jojoba oil is well known for its anti-fungal properties and is a coveted addition to any cosmetic line.
It is generally agreed that Tea Tree oil and its derived components are excellent natural products to use in cases of itchy scalp and dandruff. By facilitating the growth of hair by activating dormant scalp cells, this natural product is sought for both herbal and medicinal purposes. Tea Tree oils are known for their usage in sore treatments and killing lice in the hair.
Another natural substance that is now in widespread usage in hair products is Basil. It is known to promote hair growth. Chamomile is also known to decrease scalp itchiness and helps target fine grade hair. Clary sage, notwithstanding its estrogenic boosting quality, helps to boot out dandruff. Lavender is considered as an excellent way to treat hair loss although it is usually combined with jojoba and grapeseed oils.
Lemon is good for your hair, as it aids in eliminating dandruff. Rubbing or massaging lemon juice on your hair regulates the blood in your head, fostering, hair growth. The sebaceous glands are regulated too which help in promoting oil production. Having listed so many natural products, it is a wonder that we still go out and buy expensive artificially produced products for our hair. Always try and use natural products and use as many of nature’s offerings as possible.…
