Two Ideas For Curing Your Headache Fast and Naturally at Home
Got to tell you, I tend to get headaches. Might be because I’m on the computer a lot or perhaps it happens sometimes when my diet is off. For many, when that headache hits, it’s time to reach for the Excedrin or other pain stopper. The problem is that it’s not a good habit to get into, especially if you can cure your headache fast and naturally.
There are many things to try, but the first thing I’d do is place an ice pack to the area that hurts. Just do it and relax. Try to lose focus on everything. Additionally, put it on your neck. Not thinking too much is a key here too.
Another great idea, if it’s possible, it to take a warm bath or shower. If doing a bath, try to have some soothing music playing (no words). You could then take a little nap-this could also make it worse depending on what kind of headache you have.
Sometimes a nice little walk does the trick.
You can also apply gentle pressure to the painful area with your fingers for up to 15 seconds at a time. Do it then release for a handful of seconds.
A lot of times, relaxation is the key. However, sometimes we’re at work when it hits and this isn’t possible. If you can take a little break, go somewhere where it’s quiet or put something over your head (like a jacket) to darken your surroundings. Just relax and breathe deeply. Lying down can help as you want to release the tension in your back, neck and shoulders.
If you’re in a busy environment and can’t relax, the probability of your headache going away is minimal, since you can’t stop your brain from being overloaded. That really is the key to being pain free.
